Ken Matt Brown is a published author, model, and classically trained singer from Brooklyn, New York. Ken Matt’s early adolescent years were devoted to singing in choirs and studying acting and theater. Ken Matt holds a Bachelors degree in Music literature and English literature. In 2018, with the Brooklyn College Symphonic Choir, Ken Matt made his Carnegie Hall debut performing under the baton of maestro Joe Hisaishi in a concert series celebrating the thirty plus year partnership between Hisaishi and filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki.
Ken Matt’s repertoire includes Italian art songs and arias, lieder, mélodie, and spirituals. Aside from performing, Ken Matt is an avid reader with an ever growing love for vocal pedagogy and French literature. From lending their voice to recital performances to teaching young children at The Diller-Quaille School of Music, Ken Matt is an artist that enjoys storytelling in every form.
